In this work, polyaniline-CuCl2 composite has been used as adsorbent to remove reactive blue 52 dye from wastewater. The effects of initial dye concentration, adsorbent dosage and temperature on the adsorption capacity of PANI- CuCl2for reactive blue 52 dye have been studied. The Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption models have been used for themathematical description of adsorption equilibrium data. The best fit model is Langmuir isotherm with an R2value of 0.999.The change of Gibbs energy, enthalpy and entropy of adsorption has been evaluated. The adsorption process is exothermicin nature.
