IJAERD recognises that peer reviewers contribute substantial unpaid effort to the editorial process. Every reviewer who completes a review for the journal receives formal acknowledgement, and the journal is committed to expanding its recognition activities over time. This page describes what reviewers currently receive and what is planned.
On completion of each review, the journal's editorial system sends the reviewer an automated acknowledgement email confirming:
- The manuscript identifier (Paper ID)
- The date of review completion
- The journal name and volume/issue context
This email serves as a contemporaneous record of the reviewer's service and may be used as evidence of peer-review contribution for institutional reporting, CV documentation, professional recognition portfolios, or grant applications.
Reviewers who maintain a profile on reviewer-recognition platforms may self-record their reviews for IJAERD on those platforms. The journal supports this and will provide written confirmation of completed reviews on request.
Formerly known as Publons. Reviewers may self-record their IJAERD reviews on their Web of Science profile. The journal can confirm a completed review in writing on request.
Visit Web of Science Reviewer Recognition →Reviewers may record their peer-review service through their ORCID profile using the "Reviewer" activity type. The acknowledgement email provides the information needed to complete this record.
Visit ORCID.org →To obtain a written confirmation letter for recognition platform registration or institutional purposes, write to the Editor-in-Chief and include:

IJAERD is committed to expanding its reviewer-recognition activities. Planned developments include:
Reviewers who prefer that their participation in the journal's review process not be acknowledged publicly — in the annual acknowledgement list or any other future recognition activity — may indicate this preference at any time by writing to the editorial office at editor.ijaerd@gmail.com.
The journal's confidentiality commitments to reviewers — including the requirement that reviewer identities are not disclosed to authors during the review process — are described in full on the Reviewer Guidelines page.
