IJAERD is pleased to announce that the Scientific Journal Impact Factor (SJIF) for 2026 has been recorded at 7.37, the highest Impact Factor in the journal's history since its founding in 2014.
The SJIF Impact Factor reflects the growing citation footprint of IJAERD-published research. This milestone is a testament to the quality and relevance of the research published in the journal and to the dedication of the journal's authors, reviewers, and editorial team over 12 years of continuous monthly publication.
The Impact Factor is displayed on all journal pages, published PDFs, and in the journal's CrossRef DOI metadata.
IJAERD has completed its 2025 Annual Policy Review and formally adopted the Editorial Submissions Policy, establishing robust conflict-of-interest safeguards for manuscripts submitted by editorial team members.
Key Provisions of the Editorial Submissions Policy
- All manuscripts from editorial team members or active reviewers are assigned to an independent handling editor
- The author-editor is fully recused from all editorial discussion, decision, and workflow access
- Such manuscripts undergo double-blind external peer review
- Every such published article carries a transparency declaration in its acknowledgements
- The proportion of editorial submissions is capped at 15% in any rolling 12-month period
- Annual reporting of this proportion is published each January

IJAERD is pleased to announce that its active reviewer pool has expanded to over 30 expert reviewers spanning all major engineering and technology sub-disciplines covered by the journal.
Reviewer Pool โ Disciplines Covered
Review Model Confirmation
IJAERD confirms that double-blind peer review โ where both author and reviewer identities are concealed โ is the standard model for all submissions. Each manuscript receives a minimum of two independent external reviews, with a third sought where the first two diverge materially.
Researchers interested in joining the reviewer pool may apply via the Become a Reviewer page.
IJAERD has upgraded its e-Certificate of Publication system. Authors of published papers can now generate and download a personalised e-Certificate instantly from the journal website, without waiting for manual processing.
What the e-Certificate Contains
- Author name(s) as listed in the published paper
- Paper title, Volume, Issue, and Year
- CrossRef DOI of the published paper
- IJAERD ISSN (Online: 2348-4470 | Print: 2348-6406)
- Impact Factor at time of publication
- IJAERD logo and official journal details
To generate your certificate, visit the Generate e-Certificate page and enter your Paper ID.
IJAERD has been formally registered in the Scientific Journal Impact Factor (SJIF) programme, marking a significant milestone in the journal's credentials. The SJIF is an internationally recognised metric that reflects the citation impact of a journal's published research.
The Impact Factor is now displayed prominently on the journal's home page, in the site header, on all published paper pages, and in the journal's CrossRef DOI metadata โ providing authors with a verifiable citation metric for institutional reporting and academic evaluations.
IJAERD's current SJIF Impact Factor is 7.37 (2026 evaluation cycle). The journal's impact factor has grown consistently since initial registration.
IJAERD has formalised its plagiarism and originality screening process. With effect from January 2023, a mandatory plagiarism check is conducted on all submissions before they are assigned to peer reviewers.
Key Rules
- Threshold: Manuscripts with similarity above 15% are returned to the authors for revision before review begins
- The journal applies COPE flowcharts for suspected plagiarism in submitted and published manuscripts
- Self-plagiarism (undisclosed reuse of the authors' own prior text) and text recycling are also screened
- Citation manipulation (references added solely to inflate metrics) is reviewed editorially
Authors are reminded that they remain responsible for the originality of all submitted content, including any portions prepared with AI assistance. See the Publication Ethics page for full details.
Following a thorough review of operational costs and benchmarking against comparable open-access engineering journals, IJAERD confirms that its publication charges remain unchanged.
Publication fees are charged only after final acceptance. Submission and peer review are completely free. Full payment details including UPI, NEFT, and PayPal methods are on the Payment Information page.
IJAERD has enhanced its paper tracking system, allowing authors to check their manuscript's current status online at any stage of the editorial process using their Paper ID.
Stages Tracked
- Submitted / Received
- Under Initial Editorial Review
- Under Peer Review
- Revision Required (Minor / Major)
- Accepted โ Awaiting Payment
- Payment Verified โ Scheduled for Publication
- Published (with DOI and issue details)
To track your paper, visit Track Paper Status and enter your Paper ID.
IJAERD has completed its CrossRef DOI registration. With effect from Volume 7, Issue 6 (June 2020), every paper published in IJAERD is assigned a permanent CrossRef Digital Object Identifier (DOI) at no additional charge to the author.
What the DOI Provides
- A permanent, globally resolvable link to the article โ the DOI continues to resolve even if the journal's hosting URL changes
- Registration with CrossRef, making the article metadata available to all major indexing services, reference managers, and scholarly infrastructure
- A citable, verifiable identifier for institutional reporting, grant applications, and citation tracking
DOIs are assigned and activated at the point of publication, displayed on every paper detail page and in the published PDF footer. All papers published from Volume 7, Issue 6 onwards carry a CrossRef DOI.
IJAERD has been granted UGC (University Grants Commission) approval and included in the UGC-approved journal list โ a significant milestone in the journal's development and a formal recognition of its peer-review standards and editorial quality.
UGC approval is a key credential for Indian researchers, facilitating recognition of publications in academic career advancement (API scoring), promotions, and institutional evaluation processes.
The UGC approval status is displayed on all journal pages and in the published paper header. IJAERD remains committed to maintaining the quality standards that support its UGC approval.
KG Publication is pleased to announce the launch of IJAERD โ International Journal of Advance Engineering and Research Development as an international, open-access, peer-reviewed monthly engineering research journal.
