IJAERD is committed to the long-term preservation of its published content, ensuring that articles remain accessible to readers in perpetuity, regardless of changes to the journal, the publisher, or the hosting platform. This page describes the preservation arrangements currently in place, the persistent identifier infrastructure, and the publisher's continuity commitment.
Every article published in IJAERD is assigned a registered CrossRef Digital Object Identifier (DOI) at no additional charge to the author. The DOI provides a permanent, citable link to the article record. Even if the journal's hosting URL changes, the DOI continues to resolve to the canonical article location.
Article metadata — including title, abstract, authors, affiliations, and citation data — is deposited with CrossRef at the point of publication. CrossRef makes this metadata available to the global scholarly infrastructure, including all major indexing services and reference-linking systems.
While indexing services are not preservation services in the formal sense, the metadata they retain provides a secondary record of the journal's published output that persists independently of the journal's hosting infrastructure. IJAERD articles and metadata are present in:
KG Publication maintains regular backups of all journal content, files, and metadata as part of standard hosting operations. These backups support operational resilience against routine technical failures — server issues, accidental deletion, or platform errors — and are maintained on a rolling schedule.
Backups complement the persistent identifier and indexing infrastructure described above, ensuring that published content remains recoverable under a range of failure scenarios.
All IJAERD articles are published as text-based PDFs, not as scanned images. This means the article text remains machine-readable, searchable, and accessible to assistive technology, and can be re-rendered or migrated to future document formats without loss of content. Article metadata is stored in standard structured formats designed for long-term migration and reuse.
Authors are encouraged to deposit their published articles in institutional and subject repositories, which provides an additional distributed preservation layer. IJAERD's open-access policy places no restriction on self-archiving — see the Open Access Policy page for full details.
