📋 Manuscript Templates
IJAERD — International Journal of Advance Engineering and Research Development
Use of the template is strongly encouraged — it reduces time from acceptance to publication.
ℹ Template use is
strongly encouraged but not strictly required at first submission. Manuscripts in any clear, standard scholarly format are accepted, provided they meet the requirements in the
Author Guidelines and Submission Checklist.

1. Microsoft Word Template
The Word template is the recommended starting point for most authors. It is a single .doc file with IJAERD's layout, fonts, heading styles, line numbering, and declarations structure already configured. Authors replace the placeholder content with their own and submit the resulting file converted to PDF through the submission form.
✓A4 page size with standard journal margins
✓IEEE reference style pre-configured
✓Continuous line numbering (supports reviewer commentary)
✓Section heading styles and numbering
✓Declaration section blocks (CRediT, COI, Data Availability)
✓Italicised instruction blocks (delete before submission)
2. LaTeX Template
A LaTeX template is provided for authors who prefer to typeset in LaTeX. The template uses a custom journal class file that handles the title block, page geometry, bibliography style (IEEE), line numbering, and the corresponding-author footer block.

pdflatex ijaerd-template.tex
bibtex ijaerd-template
pdflatex ijaerd-template.tex
pdflatex ijaerd-template.tex
Tested with TeX Live 2024 and MiKTeX using only standard CTAN packages. For a watermarked draft, use \documentclass[draft]{ijaerd}.
3. What the Templates Handle Automatically
✓A4 page geometry with standard margins
✓Title block, logo, volume/issue, and article number
✓Section heading style and numbering
✓Continuous line numbering throughout
✓IEEE bibliography/reference style
✓Corresponding-author footer block with copyright line
✓CC BY-NC 4.0 licence display
4. What Authors Must Still Provide
Authors are responsible for all manuscript content, including the four required declarations. The volume, issue, and article ID placeholders should be left as defaults — the editorial team assigns actual values upon acceptance.

5. Acceptable Submission File Formats
📄
PDF Format Required
The journal accepts manuscripts only in PDF format. Authors who prepare their manuscript in Word or LaTeX should export/compile to PDF before uploading. The journal cannot accept manuscripts in handwritten, scanned image, or editable Word format.
6. Template Support
If a template does not compile, renders incorrectly, or behaves unexpectedly, please email the editorial office at editor.ijaerd@gmail.com with a brief description of the issue and, where applicable, the LaTeX log file or a screenshot of the rendering problem. The editorial office responds to template support enquiries within 2 working days.
