IJAERD aligns with the Budapest Open Access Initiative definition of open access: free availability on the public internet, permitting any user to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles, subject only to the licence terms described on the Copyright and Licensing page.
All articles published in IJAERD are released under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) licence. This permits sharing and adaptation for non-commercial purposes, with attribution to the original authors. Full details are on the Copyright and Licensing page.
Authors retain full copyright in their published articles. By submitting to IJAERD, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive licence to publish, distribute, and archive the article. The journal does not require, and does not accept, any transfer of copyright from authors. Authors may freely deposit the published version in personal websites, institutional repositories, and subject repositories without further permission.
IJAERD does not apply any embargo period. Articles are made openly available on the journal website on the day of publication. The journal does not operate a hybrid, delayed, or transitional open-access model. Every accepted article, from every author, from every country, is published open access on the same terms.
Authors are entitled to deposit any version of their manuscript — pre-print, accepted manuscript, or published version — in any repository, at any time, without restriction. The journal places no restriction on the choice of repository, the timing of deposit, or the version deposited. Authors are encouraged to:
IJAERD funds its open-access operations through Article Processing Charges (APCs) paid by authors of accepted manuscripts. APCs are requested only after final acceptance — there are no submission charges, review charges, or any fee prior to acceptance.
Full details including payment methods and step-by-step process are on the Payment Information page.
IJAERD is published by KG Publication, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. KG Publication is funded through APC revenue. The publisher does not derive income from advertising, sponsored content, or sale of subscriptions. Operational costs not covered by APC revenue are underwritten by the publisher directly. Full details are on the Publisher page.
Every article published in IJAERD is assigned a CrossRef Digital Object Identifier (DOI) at no additional charge. The DOI provides a permanent, citable link to the article record that remains valid even if the journal's hosting URL changes. Article metadata is deposited with CrossRef and harvested by Google Scholar, ResearchGate, Academia.edu, Mendeley, Semantic Scholar, SSRN, Scribd, ISSUU, and other indexing services.
IJAERD is committed to the long-term availability of all published articles, regardless of any future change in the journal's operational status. Preservation arrangements are described on the Archiving and Preservation page.
This policy is reviewed annually. Effective date: September 2026.
