Abstract

The matter of Resolution Enhancement has become one of themost important Electronic and Digital processing applications inthe last few decades. Super Resolution is one of the techniquesused for Resolution Enhancement. Super resolution techniquesare used to provide higher resolution of an image withoutdistorting an image. Super resolution can be done using twoways: Single frame and Multi frame. For the former directly aninterpolation technique can be applied to get a high resolutionimage from a low resolution image and for later multiple lowresolutions images can be combined to form a high resolutionimage. Using this techniques resolution of any digital orelectronic system can be enhanced. This paper addresses thematter of image super-resolution, which is the strategy by whichone or more low-resolution images are processed together tocreate an image of high quality or set of images with a higherspatial resolution. Multi-frame image super-resolution refers tothe particular case where multiple images of the spot areavailable.
