In motion control system, stepper motors are widelyused in robotics and numerical machine tools, where the highprecision positioning is required. Precise control of steppermotor is always been a challenging because of non-linear natureof the motor dynamic. Using discrete pulse in full stepping andhalf-stepping mode and generate the speed profile of the steppermotor with MATLAB Simulink. Simulation had done with thecontrolling current by bang-bang control, which is continuouslymaintain the current in to its sustain limit in the phase andprovide the desire speed and position of the motor and expressthe reasonable capability of the motor.
