Radiators are heat exchangers used to transfer thermal energy from one medium to another for the purposeof cooling and heating. The majority of radiators are constructed to function in automobiles, buildings, and electronics. The radiator is always a source of heat to its environment, although this may be for either the purpose of heating thisenvironment, or for cooling the fluid or coolant supplied to it, as for engine cooling. Despite the name, most radiatorstransfer the bulk of their heat via convection instead of thermal radiation. Spacecraft radiators necessarily must useradiation only to reject heat.A fin is a thin component or appendage attached to a larger body or structure. Fins typically function as foilsthat produce lift or thrust, or provide the ability to steer or stabilize motion while traveling in water, air, or other fluidmedia. Fins are also used to increase surface areas for heat transfer purposes, or simply as ornamentation. In this project, we intend to develop a model of fin with louvered section. The two variations of fins are taken such thatinitial is a rectangular fin and the latter is a trapezoidal form. The tubular of 5 sections are developed for the fins. Themodels are modeled in Catia V5 R20 and analyzed in fluid dynamics computational analysis is done in Ansys 15.0 withfluent interface.
