This paper presents a relation between heart rate and vowel speech signal. The proposed method is based onmodeling the relationship between speech production of vowel speech signals and heart activities of human. The Adaptivefilter is used to manipulate signals to reject unwanted characteristics for accurately monitoring the heart rate. Simulationresults show that the proposed method provides more accuracy as compared with existing methods. There is linearrelationship between results obtained from proposed method and clinical method.
