Software Defined Networking (SDN) is an emerging technology which provides network programmabilityand encompasses multiple kinds of network technologies designed to make the network more flexible. Rogue access pointone of the most challenging issues in security of software defined network. Rogue Access Points are serious threats whichsteal sensitive information from the network. To overcome above, we propose an approach to detect and minimize theentry of Rogue Access Point from software defined network. Along with rogue access point detection, our works alsoimprove the capabilities of software defined network by using: 1) mininet to create software defined network with SDNcontroller. 2) Sequential hypothesis algorithm to detect RAPS 3) miniedit as a simulator 4) wire share as a networkanalyser.
