This paper describes work in progress regarding personalized heart monitoring using smart phones. Theresearch combines ubiquitous with mobile health technology. This system uses wireless sensors and smart phones tomonitor the wellbeing of high risk cardiac patients. The smart phone analyses real-time the EGG data and determineswhether the personal needs external help. Depending on the situation the smart phone can automatically alertpre-assigned caregivers or call the ambulance. It is also used to give advice (e.g. exercise more) or to reassure thepatient based on the sensors and environmental data.
