The infrastructure needs of our country is increasing day by day and with concrete is a main constituent ofconstruction material in a significant portion of this infrastructural system. It is necessary to enhance its characteristicsby means of strength and durability. It is also reasonable to compensate concrete in the form of using waste materialsand saves in cost by the use of admixtures such as Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag, fly ash, silica fume, etc. aspartial replacement of cement. The composite matrix that is obtained by combining cement, Ground Granulated BlastFurnace Slag, aggregates and fibers is known as “Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag Fiber reinforced concrete”.The fiber in the cement Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag based matrix acts as crack- arresters, which restrict thegrowth of micro cracks and prevent these from enlarging under load. This study papers the feasibility of use of Glassfibers and Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag content on structural properties such as compressive strength, splittensile strength, and flexural strength test.
