Hybrid technology has become popular in the automotive industry since the technology has proven toimprove the vehicle’s efficiency, saving fuel and is environment friendly. A 2-wheeler hybrid engine combines aconventional internal combustion engine (ICE) propulsion system with an electric propulsion system. The concept is toinduce a vehicle, which can run on the road at the minimal cost, minimum consumption of the fuel and with minimumemission of the pollution in the air. In this study, an experimental investigation was carried out on the performance of a2- wheeler hybrid engine in steady state. If the use of battery vehicle or the hybrid engine is promoted on large scale, itcan pay a noticeable contribution in solving the problem of global warming.
