The embedded systems have become important, especially for monitoring and control of industrial orresidential devices through remote locations and use of concepts like Internet of Things (IoT). The rapid growth in theautomobile industry and other vehicular systems has led to the development of new embedded systems for theirmonitoring and control. The automobile manufacturing companies are concerned with safety and integrity of theirinventory or manufactured vehicles till it reaches in the hands of the customers. This paper presents the basic idea toinform the automobile manufacturing company about the location of the vehicle if it moves out of a particular area orif there are any external tampering attempt/s or any alteration/s in the originally manufactured product at thedealer/vendor’s side. The main objective of the system is to notify a car company about the location, safety andintegrity of their inventory/products at one of its dealer’s side in real time. This will provide the company a secureway of handling their inventory without any damages or changes to their original design/product. This trackingsystem can send the location and temperature of the vehicle to a HTTP web server via General Packet Radio Service(GPRS) of GSM Module. This information can be tracked any remote location through the Android application by theuse of API calls.
