In today’s era of technology, digital images are used as a medium to transfer the data from one place to anotherplace. This data can be a simple text as well as a complex multimedia file. While transferring the data with these digitalimages security must be main concern of the authors thus various data hiding algorithms which are also known assteganography techniques has been invented by the various researchers. In this paper, we have proposed a new techniquebased on least significant bit (LSB) of pixels of image. This technique is named as Adaptive Least Significant Bit technique inwhich data is text data is hidden into an image based on Fibonacci number. The proposed system is tested on various inputimages and results are obtained very well than that of existing techniques. Proposed system is also compared with theexisting system on the basis of PSNR and accuracy of the system
