An Operational Amplifier is a direct-coupled high-gain amplifier usually consisting of one or moredifferential amplifiers followed by a level transistor and output stage. The op-amp has become one of the most versatileand important building blocks in analog circuit design. In this paper, we are presenting a review on CMOS two stage op -amp using frequency compensation techniques. Two –stage CMOS op-amp design procedure involve that first stage isdifferential amplifier, second stage is common source amplifier and final stage is output buffer. There are introducevarious frequency compensation techniques like miller compensation, resistor nulling, parallel compensation, voltagebuffer, current buffer. In this paper, we are presenting the relation between frequency dependent parameter like slewrate, phase margin, compensation capacitor, bandwidth, gain bandwidth product and stability.
