Abstract

Technologies are always influencing people for good and bad and the use of internet created revolutionary
changes in all facets of life Many researchers have examined the influence of internet on student. It helps students to
broaden their knowledge by accessing to the information world and also by easy communicating to their community. The
internet is one of the greatest recent advancement in the world of information technology and has become a useful
instrument that has fostered the process of making the world a global village. This is a universal fact that the use of
internet has a great impact on the student’s academic achievement and social life. The research of pattern of Internet use
of engineering students could be important sources of information to an Educational management regarding the
development, and evaluation of engineering education. This paper aims at assessing the Internet pattern of students of
engineering in Kerala .The collected data was analyzed with ANOVA in MATLAB software. The results are demonstrated
with tables and boxgraphs. The research shows that internet usage has a positive impact for engineering students.
