OPTIMIZATION OF PHASE RESPONSE OF FOCUS FILTER IN SAR IMAGING

Moving target is imaged in SAR imaging. The image of moving target is blurred due to the phase errors. The
phase errors are reduced by minimizing the entropy of the image. The entropy of image of the moving target is estimated by
using adaptive-order polynomial model. The sharpness improvement of image is achieved by optimization of phase response
of azimuth filter through estimating the entropy. The performance of this method is better compared with the phase gradient
algorithm.
