Abstract

Now a day, the qualitative and quantitative requirement of customer is frequently change. Maintaining the
economic production with optimal use of resources is of prime concern for the engineers. In this paper, the effect of
cutting speed, feed rate, depth of cut on tool wear (tool life) tungsten carbide inserts was experimented and analyzed
using analysis of variance (ANOVA) technique, and the cutting conditions for their maximum tool life were evaluated.
