Abstract
A classification of biogas plants has been analyzed, the features of their functioning have been disclosed, a map of the processes of a biogas plant has been developed on the basis of a system and process approach. We have carried out research that proposed the optimal scheme of a biogas plant for effective functioning in the conditions of Azerbaijan.
