Abstract
This paper aims to explain the implications of a variable bench power supply using microcontroller, ifimplemented in a laboratory. A discussion on the same in a practical scenario has also been discussed, as it wasimplemented in our college. The aspects discussed are oriented towards ease-of-use, design complexity and marketacceptance.
