— The facial expression is important in social interaction and social intelligence. Automatic recognition offacial expression is most important component in human-machine interface. This field contains various applications likeuser authentication, person identification, video surveillance, information security, data privacy etc. This paper includesthe survey of various facial detection and expression recognition techniques.
