Abstract
This study investigates some of the special aspects of the response of industrial steel structures to blastloading. A hemispherical surface burst for various explosives, weights of charge and standoff distance are considered forgenerating the surface blast loading. The main parameters consider in this study are displacement, demand capacityratio(D/C) by providing different blast mitigation system and compare the blast load effect with or without mitigationsystem
