Abstract
Vehicle detection is one of the techniques used in the autonomous car to avoid road crashes and it is a solution toavoid a forward collision. This feature is more useful in highway traffic and urban traffic control. This technique is used forvehicle detection, tracking, traffic analysis, and individual vehicle's average speed. Different techniques are used to detectvehicles on-road. This paper describes various methods for vehicle detection.
